Of course, while some managers struggle, others thrive. Andoni Iraola and Oliver Glasner's on-going achievements at their clubs have put them in line for some of the best jobs, if and when they become available. The Crystal Palace head coach's contract is up at the end of the season. If he could keep the Eagles where they are in the early table - in the top five - might it better for him to stay at a well-run club rather than be tempted to go to a more glamorous but unstable alternative?
