Sound of Football Podcast 545 - A farewell to arms

It was another weekend of hotly contested handball decisions in the Premier League. One, in the match between Wolves and Luton, was given on the pitch and not turned over by VAR. The other, in the North London derby, was not originally given by the onfield official, but overturned on review.

In the four years since the handball law was updated, it continues to undergo refinements - none have of which appear to have produced anything approaching straightforward. Is there any hope of improvement in the age of VAR? Are the ongoing changes to the handball law more for the benefit of how the game looks rather than how it is played?
