Sound of Football Podcast 460 - Euro 2020: Third place chaos

Approaching the end of the group stage and everyone is twisting their brain around how teams qualify for the knock-out stage and which route their team will take to the final. For home fans, Wales can look forward to being the bad guys as they face Denmark in the next round; the expectations of England fans took a blow in the 0-0 draw with Scotland, which, despite having taken only taken a point from their first two games, was happily celebrated north of the border.

With decent refereeing, few red cards and an unobstrusive VAR, Euro 2020 has been largely uncontroversial - on the pitch at least. If the biggest complaint levied at the tournament is the 24 team format, it can't be that bad.
