Sound Of Football Podcast 91 - Nailing the trap door shut!

Terry, Graham and Chris read that story about Richard Bevan and those evil geniuses at the Premier League's plan to abolish relegation and it got their juices flowing. Then they calmed down and decided to record a podcast on the subject.

The discussion starts with the relegation proposal and moves onto Liverpool's apparent ambitions with regards to international TV rights and the UK Government's Football Review.

You can listen to the podcast here or if you right click on that link, you can download the MP3.

Terry, I've been using the word "leverage" rather than "exploitation" when discussing all the mess Ayres dragged up. This way, it fits in better with the idea these clubs are trying to enhance their brands (while leaving the exploitation to those in sweat shops sewing together those replica shirts).

A very on-top-of-it podcast, although Graham you probably had a few more nuggets of wisdom you left unsaid methinks.
