The Best of The Sound of Football 2015

2015 is almost at an end and what a year it's been, Stevie G played his last game for Liverpool, there was a Women's World Cup, the Premier League went topsy turvy and FIFA finally crumbled under the weight of its own corruption.

In this special episode, the thoughts of Jan Bilton, Terry Duffelen and Graham Sibley are distilled down from over 30 podcasts into just over an hour of everything you need to now about the game in 2015.

As is customary, our walk down memory lane is produced and presented by Chris Oakley, complete with his gold lamé game show host jacket. You can listen to The Best of The Sound of Football 2015 for FREE by clicking here. Alternatively, right-click the link to save it to whatever device you wish.

A very Merry Christmas to all our listeners.

Tis the season to be jolly, especially if you're a Leicester fan, maybe not if you're a Chelsea or United fan.

Who waits behind the 24 doors of this year's advent calendar? Pour yourself a festive glass of port, warm up a couple of mince pies and make yourself comfortable as we look at what we think the talking points of the year ahead will be. If you have nothing else better to do you might fancy listening to all our old advent calendars too and see how times have changed.

Sound Of Football Podcast 237 - The World Club Cup

Today marks the start of the 2015 FIFA World Club Cup, which in case you didn't know is an annual knock-out tournament contested by the six confederation Champions and a host nation's Champions. You'd imagine that such an event would attract a lot of interest and be accompanied by a huge fanfare but here in the UK at least the competition hasn't even been picked up for any TV coverage.

Why is there so little regard for this competition? Is it the format or is it that it just reeks of FIFA? Terry, Graham and Jan discuss this year's tournament, the last FIFA tournament before the emergency meeting in February, and try to work out why no one cares about it.

Sound Of Football Podcast 236 - Unofficial Euro 2016 Draw

We love an international draw - who doesn't enjoy watching football administrators and awkward-looking ex-pros coming together to decide the fate of nations.

We love them so much, we do our own, this one being our fourth unofficial draw. Who will the home nations get? Will ancient rivalries be reignited? Will political tensions be strained? It's Europe, of course they will.

WARNING: This draw is for entertainment purposes only, don't book your holidays around it. The real draw is on Saturday 12 December at 5pm GMT.
