Sound Of Football Podcast 113 - England

It is St Georges Day, so what better way to say Happy England Day than with a chat about the English national team? But rather than talk about boring stuff like results, tactics, team selection and managers we've tried to approach the topic from a cultural perspective: the importance of the England team in English football, England football culture, why do people expect so much from England.  Is it arrogance? Do we only really care about the national team when the big tournaments happen? If our clubs had to make a sacrifice for the benefit of the national team, would we be willing to make that sacrifice?

All these question and no more were addressed, if not actually answered, in this week's Sound Of Football Podcast
