Sound Of Football Podcast 4 - Manchester Utd v Arsenal

Welcome to the latest edition of the Sound Of Football Podcast. This week, we are a man down as Graham Sibley heads to Cornwall for some barely deserved R'n'R.

And it's R'n'R that we speak of this week as we marvel at the dynamic duo of Ribery and Robben who played together for the first time for Bayern Munich in the Bavarian's Bundesliga clash with champions Wolfsburg at the weekend.

We also pick the bones out of Manchester United's victory over Arsenal last Saturday and ask if Arsene Wenger is right to feel victimised.

Then we, not only suggest that Leonardo be sacked as manager of AC Milan but name his replacement.

Sound Of Football Podcast 3

This week, the chaps discuss Tottenham's fantastic start to the Premier League season, poke fun at Birmingham City and look on in amazement as Aston Villa beat Liverpool before unnecessarily rambling about the Europa League.

Unfortunately, our attempts to clean up the background noise seem to be having the opposite effect so we apologise in advance for the unintentional hisses, buzzes and reverb. Despite these obvious flaws we hope you enjoy the show.

Sound Of Football Podcast 2

This week, Chris and Graham discuss the top matches from the opening weekend of the new Premier League season while Terry passes the occasional comment on the bits he saw.

Then the Palace supporting Terry offers a balanced and in no way hysterical or shrill diatribe on Ashton Gate Gate before the chaps discuss the last round of international fixtures. Listen out for a special report on a seven goal thriller at Croydon Athletic as well.

Welcome!

Hello everyone and welcome to the official website of The Sound of Football, a podcast for anyone that loves the beautiful game and can tolerate three ageing fans talking about it on a frequent basis.

When it comes to football, you can never fail to find something of interest that's worth discussing and that, essentially, is the reason why The Sound of Football podcast came to be created. But just who is it that you'll hear rambling on about the state of the game when you download one of our podcasts?

Well there's Chris Oakley, creator of the occasionally popular blogsite Some People Are On The Pitch. He'll be fronting the show and generally throwing a conversational bone to his two cohorts every week, Terry Duffelen and Graham Sibley. Both men are instrumental to the success of The Onion Bag and Fantasy Football Agent, insofar as they created and crafted both with tender loving care for your dubious pleasure.

By way of a pointer, we try to keep our podcasts down to a running time of around 30 minutes so that you don't get too bored with the whole sorry affair, and we'll be aiming to publish our podcasts on a weekly basis, hopefully every Tuesday.

If you'd like to comment on any of our podcasts, feel free to do so via the Comment facility on each of this site's posts, or alternatively email us at sofpodcast [at] googlemail [dot] com. The same goes if you want to suggest a topic of conversation for us or even if there's someone you'd like us to interview on the show - please feel free to get in touch.

Thanks for visiting The Sound of Football - now for the podcasts...
